Is there a free plan?+
Yes — DaFTrainer offers a free plan with 2 exam starts per day (Lesen & Schreiben only), basic AI feedback, and progress tracking. No credit card required. Upgrade to Pro or Intensive for unlimited exams, all sections, and full AI feedback.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Absolutely. There is no lock-in contract. Cancel your Pro or Intensive subscription anytime from your account settings. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, as well as PayPal. For annual Pro (€180/yr) or Intensive (€299/yr) plans, payment is processed securely through Dodo Payments.
How does billing work for annual plans?+
Annual plans are billed once per year. The Pro plan costs €180/year (€15/month equivalent — save 38%). The Intensive plan costs €299/year (€24.92/month equivalent — save 36%). Both auto-renew unless cancelled.
Can I switch between plans?+
Yes. Upgrade from Free to Pro or Intensive, or from Pro to Intensive, at any time. Your new features activate immediately. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
What is the difference between Pro and Intensive?+
Pro includes unlimited exams across all 4 sections, full criteria-based AI feedback, up to 3 study plans, flashcards, AI revision, and the learning materials library. Intensive adds the AI Writing Coach, full mock exam simulation with timed conditions, a weekly weakness report, prioritised AI responses during peak usage, and access to beta features.
